RESOURCES

Each year, BP GFT provides fuels training to a variety of groups including automotive technicians and auto enthusiasts. In the past, GFT has offered live, in-person training seminars at its research facility in Naperville, Ill., which included a classroom training, live demonstrations and a tour of the facility. With the introduction of FuelCertification.com, GFT now shares this same information with an audience outside of the Chicagoland area. However, GFT still accepts requests to provide live, in-person training at the Naperville research facility or at a training event near you. In the past couple years, GFT representatives have presented fuels training in many different cities including: Miami, Cleveland and Minneapolis.

We encourage you to complete the online course to learn more about fuels. But, after completing the course, if you or your automotive service organization (ASA, AASP, etc.) is interested in visiting the GFT research facility for additional fuels training or you would like a GFT representative to present at a training event in your area, please send an email to Steve Bent (sbent@golinharris.com) that contains the following information:

SUBJECT: REQUEST TO VISIT GFT FACILITY or REQUEST FOR GFT VISIT TO MY AREA

Within the body of the email, please provide a brief description of your group as well as what additional fuels training you would like to receive (gasoline, diesel, Biofuels). Please note that due to high demand, not all requests will be granted. GFT will evaluate each request based on timing/speaker availability, size of the group and other administrative factors and respond to each request no more than two weeks after receipt.
